What do I need to provide to create my custom Bottle Mockup?
All that's required is a reference image showing your packaging type, and your product label files. We accept files in many formats, and are happy to sign an NDA before receiving label files if necessary.
Note: Label files can be sent in PDF, PSD, AI, JPEG and PNG formats. If sending working files, please convert 'text to shapes' to avoid font incompatibility issues. If sending a 'flattened' version of your artwork, please ensure the file is saved at a high resolution for best results.

What reference images should I provide?
For a new scene creation, we require at least one reference image of your packaging type to create an accurate model. This could be your own photograph, a manufacturer image, or a competitor image found online. If you have specific brand guidelines for your imagery, please feel free to let us know and we'll discuss visual options that would work well for your brand.
For the best results, reference images should taken in a way that minimises perspective distortion.
Quick tip: Taking an image from further away and 'zooming in' will help lessen the distortion |
References images dont need to be taken in a professional studio. As long as the product 'profile' is clearly visible it should be okay.
Quick tip: Placing a piece of paper behind the product can help produce a more clear reference image |
What Formats do I receive in terms of final deliverables?
By default, we optimise imagery for eCommerce, which means high resolution jpeg formats with pure white studio backgrounds. Transparent .png formats & PSD files with removable backgrounds are also available on request. Due to the nature of 3D rendering software, we do not to provide images in vector format, however vector conversion is oftentimes possible with an aftermarket solution.
How long does the Bottle Mockup process take?
Custom scene creation takes up to 5 working days. The turnaround is largely dependant on feedback and revisions , as well as the overall complexity of the scene. Scenes with transparent materials and lots of refraction can sometimes take longer to perfect. Once a scene is completed, additional label re-renders can be processed within 2-3 working days.
How is Bottle Mockup different to PSD mockups?
Bottle Mockup is a full 3D rendering service; this means we produce unique, consumer ready product shots from scratch for each brand that we work with. We can produce unique models and compositions for packaging types that would be otherwise unavailable via ready made PSD Mockups.
